Willfully Living
Willfully Living

Hey Friends! I'm Will Morgan

In 2011, I traveled to Alaska to try my hand as a commercial fisherman. I arrived homeless, jobless, and broke and had the time of my life. After a few weeks of networking and living in a treehouse in the woods, I landed a deckhand position on a commercial fishing vessel and began a career pulling salmon from the beautiful Prince William Sound. Fast-forward 7 years, and I haven’t been able to shake the call of the sea, having returned nearly every summer since.

After the 2015 salmon season, my beautiful wife Jaimie and I embarked on a voyage around the world. We traveled across Southeast Asia for 3 months and then drove a campervan 16,000 kilometers across 22 European countries over 5 months. We live in Denver, Colorado where I work for a startup in Operations and Finance. In September 2018, Jaimie and I became parents to John Everette Morgan, and can’t hardly wait to take him abroad with us.

I am extremely passionate about travel, adventure, intentional living, and pursuing a meaningful life of purpose. I hope my writings and photos inspire and encourage you to pursue those things in your own life. Life is a beautiful journey and with each passing second, we have a choice–Passive Living or Willfully Living. I choose the latter, and I hope you do too.
